Ethology of dog behaviour - what/how do dogs think?

The study of behaviour involves not only WHAT an animal does but when, how, where and why it does the behaviour. Behaviour is a series of movements with a beginning, middle and end. Behaviour should always be considered in the context in which it occurs, not in isolation.
